The A876 Trunk Road (Kincardine Bridge) (Temporary Prohibition of Specified Turns and Temporary Prohibition on Use of Road) Order 2019

The Scottish Ministers give notice that they have made the above Order under sections 2(1) and (2), 4(1) and 14(1)(a) and (4) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, temporarily prohibiting specified turns and temporarily prohibition on use of road on the following lengths :

Prohibition Of Specified Turns

That length of the M876/A876 Dennyloanhead – Kilbagie Roundabout Trunk Road from a point 390 metres or thereby south of its junction with the A977 Longannet Roundabout – Gartarry Roundabout Trunk Road in a southwards direction to its junction with the A985 Kincardine – Rosyth Trunk Road, a distance of 14 metres or thereby.

All right turns from the southbound carriageway of the M876/A876 Dennyloanhead – Kilbagie Roundabout Trunk Road onto the westbound carriageway of the A985 Kincardine – Rosyth Trunk Road.

Prohibition On Use Of Road

That length of the M876/A876 Dennyloanhead to Kilbagie Roundabout Trunk Road being the eastbound carriageway from the eastbound exit from the A985 at the North Approach Road to its junction with the A977 Trunk Road, a distance of 450 metres or thereby.

The Order, which is required to facilitate works and, will be in operation from 5 June until 21 July 2019 and will only have effect in relation to such part or parts of the length of road as is indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

The Order does not apply to vehicles while being or vehicles being used in an emergency for fire brigade, ambulance, police or coastguard purposes or a vehicle being used for carrying out the works.
