Statement of Reasons

The Scottish Ministers are proposing to introduce a 40mph speed limit across the existing uncontrolled crossing points across the A9 dual carriageway, A9 single carriageway and the A835 single carriageway which lie within the national speed limit. A reduced speed limit around Tore roundabout will improve the safety of non-motorised users and will accommodate further active travel initiatives to be progressed.
