The A99 Trunk Road (Francis Street, Wick) (Temporary Prohibition on Waiting, Loading and Unloading) Order 2018

The Scottish Ministers give notice that they have made the above Order under sections 2(1) and 2, 4(1) and 14(1)(a) and (4) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, temporarily prohibiting waiting, loading and unloading on that length of the A99 Latheron - Wick Trunk Road known as Francis Street from its junction with Thurso Street, Wick southwards to its junction with Moray Street, Wick, a distance of 95 metres or thereby.

The Order, which is required to facilitate works on that length of trunk road, will be in operation on 14 May 2018 until 16 May 2018 and will only have effect in relation to such part or parts of the length of road as is indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

The Order does not apply to vehicles being used in an emergency for fire brigade, ambulance, police or coastguard purposes; or a vehicle being used for carrying out the works.
