The M77/A77 Trunk Road (Kirkoswald) (Temporary Prohibition on use, Waiting, Loading and Unloading) Order 2020

The Scottish Ministers give notice that they have made the above Order under sections 2(1) and (2), 4(1) and 14(1)(a) and (4) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, temporary prohibiting use, waiting, loading and unloading on that length of the M77/A77 Glasgow – Stranraer Trunk road being the northbound and southbound carriageways from a distance 280 metres or thereby north of its junction with Blawearie Road in a north easterly direction to a distance 335 metres or thereby north of its junction with the road going towards Kilkerran, a distance of approximately 1370 metres or thereby.

The Order, which is required to allow resurfacing works will be in operation from the 16 November until the 23 November and will only have effect in relation to such part or parts of the length of road as is indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

The Order does not apply to vehicles being used in an emergency for fire brigade, ambulance, police or coastguard purposes or vehicles being used for carrying out the works.
