The M876/A876 Trunk Road (Kincardine Bridge) (Temporary Prohibition of Specified Turns) Order 2018

The Scottish Ministers give notice that they have made the above Order under sections 2(1) and 2, 4(1) and 14(1)(a) and (4) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, temporarily prohibiting traffic on that length of the M876/A876 - Dennyloanhead – Kilbagie Roundabout Trunk Road from a point 390 metres or thereby south of its junction with the A977 Longannet Roundabout – Gartarry Roundabout Trunk Road in a southwards direction to its junction with the A985 Kincardine – Rosyth Trunk Road, a distance of 14 metres or thereby from making the following turns:

All right turns from the southbound carriageway of the M876/A876 Dennyloanhead – Kilbagie Roundabout Trunk Road onto the westbound carriageway of the A985 Kincardine – Rosyth Trunk Road.

The Order, which is required to facilitate maintenance works on Kincardine Bridge, will be in operation from 4 June until 27 July 2018, and will only have effect in relation to such part or parts of the length of road as is indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

The Order does not apply to vehicles while being used in an emergency for fire brigade, ambulance, police or coastguard purposes or vehicles being used to carry out the works.
