The M9/A9 Trunk Road (Denmarkfield Farm, Luncarty) (Temporary Prohibition of Specified Turns) Order 2019
The Scottish Ministers give notice that they have made the above Order under sections 2(1) and (2), 4(1) and 14(1)(a) and (4) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, temporarily prohibiting traffic on that length of the M9/A9 Edinburgh – Stirling – Thurso Trunk Road from a point 1145 metres or thereby south of the B8063/A9 Luncarty Junction off slip, to a point 1350 metres or thereby south of the B8063/A9 Luncarty Junction off slip, a distance of 205 metres or thereby from making the following turns:-
1. All right turns from the south bound M9/A9 Edinburgh – Stirling – Thurso Trunk Road to the unclassified road to the property known as Broxy Cottage.
2. All right turns from the unclassified road to the property known as Broxy Cottage to the south bound M9/A9 Edinburgh – Stirling – Thurso Trunk Road.
3. All left turns from the south bound M9/A9 Edinburgh – Stirling – Thurso Trunk Road to the unclassified road to Denmarkfield Farm, Luncarty.
4. All left turns from the unclassified road to Denmarkfield Farm, Luncarty to the south bound M9/A9 Edinburgh – Stirling – Thurso Trunk Road.
The Order, which is required to facilitate works on that length of road, will be in operation from the 25 August until the 30 August 2019 and will only have effect in relation to such part or parts of the length of road as is indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
The Order does not apply to vehicles being used in an emergency for fire brigade, ambulance, police or coastguard purposes; or a vehicle being used for carrying out the works.
