A9 Dualling: Tay Crossing to Ballinluig – Overnight temporary traffic signals on the A9 between Jubilee Bridge and Ballinluig
Road users are advised that in addition to traffic signals being in use on the A9 between Jubilee Bridge and Ballinluig on weekday nights (Monday to Friday), additional temporary traffic signals will be implemented on the A9 near Jubilee Bridge for one night on Saturday 14 March and near Kindallachan for two nights on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 March. This is to enable works to be undertaken for the diversion of utility cables for the project.
The traffic signals will be manually controlled to minimise disruption and will be in operation overnight between the hours of 19:30 and 06:00 the following morning, with work being carried out on one lane of the carriageway at a time.
This traffic management is required to ensure the safety of road users and the workforce. There will be no change to the existing speed restriction in the area of 40mph.
Road users are advised to approach the area with care and allow extra time for their journeys whilst these works are undertaken.
This planned traffic management is weather dependent and subject to change, please refer to the Traffic Scotland website for updates.
