A9 Dualling: Tomatin to Moy – Lane Closure for junction improvement works onto U2856 from northbound A9 dual carriageway
Road users are advised that one lane on the existing A9 dual carriageway approximately 5km south of the project will be closed for one night on 05 June 2025. This is to facilitate junction improvement works including site clearance activities to enable the proposed upgrade to the Tomatin South Junction, and the construction of the proposed Clune bus turning circle on the U2856. This work will take place overnight between the hours of 1930 and 0600.
The lane closure will begin north of the Slochd summit and will tie into the existing traffic management through the Findhorn Bridge for one night only.
A single lane of A9 will be maintained at all times for road users who are travelling north to minimise disruption. Road users travelling south will not be impacted.
To ensure the safety of our workforce, temporary traffic signals will also be in place for those accessing the U2856 for the evening of 5 June. Walkers and wheelers access will be maintained at all times as will access for Emergency services.
Road users are advised to approach the area with care and allow extra time for their journeys whilst these works are undertaken.
This planned traffic management is weather dependent and subject to change, please refer to the Traffic Scotland website for updates.
