A9 Dualling: Tomatin to Moy - lane widening
Road users are advised that overnight temporary traffic signals and a convoy system will be in operation on the A9 over one night to facilitate lane widening and barrier works in close proximity to the carriageway on the Tomatin to Moy project.
On Monday 7 September, between 7pm and 6am, temporary traffic signals and a convoy system will be operational beginning at Moy rail bridge and moving throughout the night, before finishing 300 metres north of Moy Rail Bridge. During these works, road users will be stopped at temporary traffic signals and guided through a short 140-metre lane closure by a convoy vehicle. Once guided through the works area, road users can continue their journey.
The map below outlines the working areas.
These works are essential to keep road users and our workforce safe while works are carried out in close proximity to the A9 carriageway.
There will be no impact on the National Cycle Network Route 7.
Pedestrian and emergency services access will be maintained at all times.
All works are weather dependent and plans may change at short notice.
