A9 Tomatin to Moy: Temporary traffic signals and 140-metre lane closure in two locations

There will be temporary traffic signals and a short 140-metre lane closure on the A9 in two locations from 2 February. This is to facilitate drainage installation works beneath the carriageway.

The traffic signals will be in place from 2 February until 6:30am 11 February and will be in place for 24 hours a day. No works will be carried out on Saturday or Sunday.

From 2 February until 6:30am 6 February, temporary traffic signals will be in place approximately 1km north of the Lynebeg realignment.

From 9 February until 6:30am 11 February, temporary traffic signals will be located approximately 1km north of the B9154 Moy South junction.

The temporary traffic signals will be manned at all times to manage traffic flows.

These arrangements are essential to ensure the safety of both the workforce and road users, as works will take place in close proximity to live traffic on the A9.

A map showing the locations of these works is provided below.

The dates for these works may change dependent on weather conditions.
