Overnight traffic management on A9 Pitlochry to Killiecrankie

Overnight temporary traffic management and speed restrictions will be in operation on the A9 to construct improvements to the existing Faskally Forest access.

Road users are advised that temporary traffic signals will be in operation each evening from 19:00 on Monday 23rd March and end the following morning at 07:00. The temporary traffic signals will cease on Saturday 28th March at 07:00.

A 30mph speed limit will also be in place from 19:00 on Monday 23rd March to Friday 10th April over the extent of the work.

The speed restriction and traffic signals will allow construction of improvement works to the existing Faskally Forest access to safely take place adjacent to the A9 carriageway.

These works, and the associated traffic management measures, are essential to ensure the safety of both road users and the workforce, as activities will be carried out close to live traffic on the A9.

Works have been planned overnight where possible to minimise disruption to A9 road users, and the signals will be manned at all times to help manage traffic flow and minimise disruption.

Pedestrian and emergency service access will be maintained at all times.

Please note that these dates may change depending on weather conditions.
