Temporary traffic signals slightly north of Moy rail bridge

There will be temporary traffic signals on the A9 on Tuesday 27 October, for one day, between 7am and 7pm. These signals will be located to the north of Moy rail bridge.

These essential works are required to install additional drainage underneath the existing A9 carriageway.

During these works, road users will be stopped at temporary traffic signals and guided through one open lane whilst the other is closed over a 100-metre length. As the works progress, the lane closure will transition to the other lane at the same location.

The signals will be manually operated to help manage traffic flows and minimise delays wherever possible. However, it is likely that road users will experience some slight additional journey time.

Once through the works area, road users can continue their journey.

These traffic management measures are essential to allow our workforce to work safely on the A9 carriageway.

Pedestrian and emergency services access will be maintained at all times.

All works are weather dependent and plans may change at short notice.
