Join MACS: Make a Difference in Accessible Transport

Are you passionate about creating an inclusive transport system that works for everyone? At MACS, we are always looking for dedicated individuals to help shape the future of accessible transport across Scotland. As a member of MACS, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with ministers, government agencies, and transport providers, directly influencing policies that remove barriers for disabled travellers.

Our members come from diverse backgrounds, bringing unique perspectives and experiences to the table. Whether you have lived experience of disability or professional expertise in areas like transport, social inclusion, or advocacy, you can make a real impact by helping Scotland’s transport system become more inclusive and accessible.

By joining MACS, you will:

  • Advise on key national policies and transport strategies.
  • Engage with a wide range of stakeholders to promote inclusive travel.
  • Play a crucial role in consultations that shape transport planning and infrastructure.

We are currently accepting applications for a new Convener. This is a unique opportunity to lead MACS and shape the future of accessible transport in Scotland. As Convener, you will play a key role in advising ministers and government bodies, ensuring that the needs of disabled people are at the forefront of transport policy.
