Ultra Low-Emission Vehicle (ULEV) - Skills Baselining Study

This study assesses the availability of ULEV repair, maintenance, sales, emergency assistance and recovery skills in Scotland and identifies barriers to increasing them in future.

This report reflects the situation as of March 2020. The impact of the COVID-19 outbreak has had unprecedented global and local impacts. We recognise that since this report was completed there may have been subsequent changes to numbers of employers and employees in the sector, training provision and accreditation, including the impact of physical distancing as it restricts learning, tuition and assessment capacity. Despite that clear impact, this report will continue to inform our thinking and next steps around improving the EV skills base in Scotland, which remains key to our green recovery.
