This annual report is produced as part of the Programme's performance management responsibilities and is informed largely by information submitted by the three Police Scotland regional Safety Camera units (East, North and West)

Our position in relation to non-prescribed road signs for use on quiet, rural routes, where pedestrians, cycle users, drivers and equestrians are required to share the road space. It provides advice to local authorities who wish to install signs on these routes with intention of promoting safe and appropriate user behaviour.

An evaluation of phase 2 of the Safe System Training and Capacity Building project. Over 500 road safety stakeholders received training on the Safe System and we published a worlds first Safe System Manual for Scotland’s road safety practitioners.
