The A830 Trunk Road (Glenfinnan) (Prohibition on Waiting, Loading and Unloading) Order 2025
The Scottish Ministers hereby give notice that they have made the above Order under sections 1(1), 2(1) and (2) and 124(1)(d) of and paragraph 27 schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order is as described in The Oban Times, dated 25 April 2025 and the Press and Journal, dated 25 April 2025, comes into force on 30 June 2025.
A copy of the Order as made and the relevant plan may be inspected free of charge until 21 July 2025 at the offices of Transport Scotland, 177 Bothwell Street, Glasgow, G2 7ER, Fort William Library, 2 High Street, Fort William, PH33 6EU and Caol Library, Glenkingie Street, Caol, Fort William, PH33 7DP.

Narration of Statement of Compatibility
The Scottish Ministers have made the following statement regarding children’s rights. In accordance with section 23(2) of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (Incorporation) (Scotland) Act 2024 (the Act), the Scottish Ministers certify that, in their view, the A830 Trunk Road (Glenfinnan) (Prohibition on Waiting, Loading and Unloading) Order 2025 is compatible with the UNCRC requirements as defined by section 1(2) of the Act.
