The A90 Trunk Road (Ellon Road) (Redetermination Of Means Of Exercise Of Public Right Of Passage) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Scottish Ministers propose to make an Order under sections 2(1) and 152(2) of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984, redetermining the means of exercise of the public right of passage over the roads described in the Schedule hereto.

The title of this Order is The A90 Trunk Road (Ellon Road) (Redetermination of Means of Exercise of Public Right of Passage) Order 2017.

A copy of the proposed Order and accompanying plans showing the roads over which the means of exercise of the public right of passage is to be redetermined may be examined free of charge during normal business hours until 31st May 2017 at the offices of Transport Scotland, 9th Floor Reception, Buchanan House, 58 Port Dundas Road, Glasgow, G4 0HF; the offices of Aberdeen City Council, Ground Floor, Marischal College, Broad Street, Aberdeen, AB10 1AB and Bridge of Don Post Office, 2 Balgowie Crescent, Bridge of Don, Aberdeen, AB23 8ER. 

ANY PERSON may object to the making of the Order by notice in writing to The Director, Trunk Roads and Bus Operation, c/o Karl McAreavey, Transport Scotland, 8th Floor, Buchanan House, 58 Port Dundas Road, Glasgow, G4 0HF quoting reference NE/A90/KMCA by the 31st May 2017. Objections should state the title of the Order, the name and address of the objector, the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made.

Footway Over Which Means of Exercise of Public Right of Passage is to be Redetermined

The Parkway (A90)

1. That length of existing southern footway of The Parkway, from a point 1 metre or thereby west of the extended western kerb line of the A956, in a generally western direction for a distance of 34 metres or thereby to a point 35 metres or thereby west of the extended western kerb line of the A956.
2. The length of the existing island footway crossing of The Parkway, from a point 30 metres or thereby west of the extended western kerbline of the A956, in generally northern direction for a distance of 3 metres or thereby.

Ellon Road (A90)

3. That length of existing western footway of Ellon Road, from a point 32 metres or thereby west of the extended western kerbline of the A956 on the northern footway of The Parkway, in a generally northern direction for a distance of 1675 metres or thereby to a point, at its junction with the B999, Tarves Road.
4. That length of existing eastern footway of Ellon Road from a point 1 metre or thereby south of the extended southern kerb line of Berryhill Farm Road in a generally southern direction for a distance of 121 metres or thereby to a point 122 metres or thereby south of the extended southern kerb line of Berryhill Farm Road.
