The A92 Trunk Road (Cowdenbeath) (Temporary Prohibition on Use of Road) Order 2018

The Scottish Ministers give notice that they have made the above Order under sections 2(1) and (2), 4(1) and 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, temporarily prohibiting traffic on the following lengths of trunk road:

  1. That length of the A92 Trunk Road known as the A92 East Fife Regional Road being the northbound off slip road at Cowdenbeath Grade Separated Junction, a distance of 450 metres or thereby.
  2. That length of the A92 Trunk Road known as the A92 East Fife Regional Road being the southbound off slip road at Cowdenbeath Grade Separated Junction, a distance of 500 metres or thereby.

The Order, which is required to facilitate a Parade and to enable members of the public to watch this event, will be in operation from 30 June until 1 July 2018 but will only have effect in relation to such part or parts of the length of road as is indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

The Order does not apply to vehicles while being used in an emergency for fire brigade, ambulance, police or coastguard purposes., or vehicles while being used for facilitating the holding of the relevant event.

Alternative Route

Alternative routes are not required.
