The M90/A90 Trunk Road (Myrekirk Roundabout) (Temporary 30mph Speed Restriction) Order 2017

The Scottish Ministers give notice that they have made the above Order under sections 2(1) and (2), 4(1) and 14(1)(b) and (4) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, temporarily prohibiting traffic on that length of the M90/A90 – Edinburgh to Fraserburgh Trunk Road being the northbound carriageway way from Myrekirk Roaundabout to A90 Trunk Road, slip road Kingsway West, eastbound to Coupar Angus Road, Dundee, a distance of 1.850 metres or thereby

The Order, which is required to facilitate the Carnival 56 Music Event will be in operation from 12 August until 14 August 2017. The prohibition on use will only have effect in relation to such part or parts of the length of road as indicated by appropriate traffic signs.

The Order does not apply to vehicles falling within regulation 3(4) of the Road Traffic Exemptions (Special Forces)(Variation and Amendment) Regulations 2011(a) when used in accordance with regulation 3(5) of those Regulations; or vehicles being used in an emergency for coastguard purposes.

Alternative Routes

An alternative route for traffic during the restrictions is not required.
