Analysis Report - Consultation on Building Scotland’s Low Emission Zones

This report is an analysis of responses to the Building Scotland’s Low Emission Zones Consultation which sought feedback on the Scottish Government’s proposals to introduce Low Emission Zones (LEZs) in Scotland.

The Scottish Government has committed to work with local authorities to introduce LEZs into its biggest four cities between 2018 and 2020. Recognising that collaboration is at the heart of the successful delivery of LEZs, we launched a consultation to gather the views of stakeholders and the general public. This process will help inform the LEZ policy making process, helping to shape the guiding principles that the Scottish Government will adopt to design, establish and operate Scottish LEZs.

The consultation took place between 6 September and 28 November 2017.
