National Transport Strategy (NTS2) - SEA Post Adoption Statement - January 2020

In Scotland, the Environmental Assessment (Scotland) Act 2005 requires public bodies to assess, consult and monitor the likely significant impacts of their plans, programmes or strategies on the environment. This process is known as Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA). The Post-Adoption Statement is the last stage of the SEA process and details how the SEA assessment findings and consultation, and responses to both the draft Strategy and SEA Environmental Report received during the consultation, have been taken into account and influenced the finalisation of the Strategy.
