The report details the response from Road Maintenance Strategic Action Group (SAG), co-chaired by the Minister for Transport and the Islands and comprising representatives from:

  • Transport Scotland;
  • Convention of Scottish Local Authorities (COSLA);
  • Society Of Chief Officers of Transportation in Scotland (SCOTS);
  • Society of Local Authority Chief Executives (SOLACE);
  • Scottish Roadworks Commissioner; and
  • Improvement Service

to the 20 recommendations set out in Audit Scotland’s Maintaining Scotland’s roads follow up report, published in August 2016.
