ScotRail Policy Outcomes Report April 2022 - August 2024

Under the public ownership arrangements, the ScotRail Policy Compendium sets out a number of policy outcomes that are designed to ensure that Scottish Rail Holdings (SRH) and ScotRail support the delivery of the Scottish Government's purpose and National Outcomes. As sponsor, Transport Scotland are required to monitor SRH's activities, ensuring that they are delivering value for money through the delivery of the Policy Outcomes set out in the Compendium.

The timing of the National Performance Framework review has provided Transport Scotland with a timely opportunity to review SRH's policy performance, as well as ensuring the Policy Compendiums remain aligned to the National Performance Framework and the second National Transport Strategy.
