2. The questionnnaire was changed in 2012,and as a result more walking journeys were recorded, so there is a break in the time series between 2011 and 2012.

2 Prior to 2007 only journeys over 1/4 mile or 5 minutes on foot were recorded. Since 2007 all journeys are recorded. This creates a distcontinuity in the time series between 2006 and 2007.

3. Due to a small number of missing distances not having been excluded in the past, some of the mean distances are slightly modified from past published values.
