An Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for the proposed scheme is required under European and Scottish Legislation. The EIA Report details the findings of the EIA, which has been undertaken in line with the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB).

Public Exhibitions are being held for the A9 Dualling Pass of Birnam to Tay Crossing project, to present the draft Orders, including the Compulsory Purchase Order (CPO), and Environmental Impact Assessment Report (EIAR) for the proposed scheme, which were published on 30 May 2025.
