A9 Tay Crossing to Ballinluig

The 8.2km road from Tay Crossing to Ballinluig is being upgraded to dual carriageway as part of a wider programme to improve the A9 between Perth and Inverness. The estimated total scheme cost for preparation, procurement and construction of the project is £257 million at Q2 2025 prices.

A9 Dualling: Tay Crossing to Ballinluig - Overnight temporary traffic signals and changes to road layout on A9 at Guay
11 May 2026In order to install the filter lane, overnight two-way temporary traffic signals and a lane closure will be required on the A9 overnight from 7pm until 6am the following day for a period of four weeks from Monday 11 May.
