This is a scheme to replace the existing life expired A830 Utha Bridge over a watercourse 2 miles west of Glenfinnan.

Construction of a new 1.2 kilometre-long bridge across the Forth Estuary, together with 6.4 kilometres of approach road and associated works.

The existing bridge is deemed to be beyond economic repair. Therefore, it is proposed to replace it with new reinforced concrete bridge with a span of 5.5 metres.

The £3.23M Erskine Bridge Lighting and Electrical Refurbishment contract was substantially completed on 11 November 2016.

This project involved the replacement of the existing vehicle barriers along the central reserve and nearside lane of the Erskine Bridge.
